Visual Guidance- practical demonstration, diagrams and other visual prompts
Verbal Guidance- a spoken explanation of how a skill is performed (often used with elite level performers)
Manual Guidance- the teacher or coach physically moves the body of the performer through the correct pattern of movement
Mechanical Guidance- equipment used to help the performer learn and practice a skill

M- Measurable (track progress to see if your target has been achieved)
A- Accepted (agreed on by coach/ teammates)
R- Realistic (ensure it fits round factors such as work and hobbies)
T- Time Bound (create a clear time frame for you to achieve your target)
