A

  • Ambulance only: medical alpha, medical bravo, code 3 bravo, mva alpha
  • High life/high risk fire alarms: 1 engine, 1 truck, 1 BC or 2 engines, 1 BC

The responding Captain should receive the following information:

  • Logistical support from PFA BC

  • Make request through dispatch (IC, On-Duty BC, or System Officer)
  • Should include following info:

  • The agency being requested
  • Type of resources requested
  • Type of incident
  • Radio frequency
  • Location where the unit(s) respond

Mutual Aid

  • Termination of Action
  • PFA Captain SHALL cease engagement when:
A
  • The conditions do not fit the Risk Profile

- The physical needs and rehab are not being met

Termination of Aid

  • The mutual aid response should be terminated when:
A
  • IC releases mutual aid personnel and equipment
  • The conditions at the incident continue to subject PFA personnel to situations that do not fit Risk Profile
  • PFA needs its personnel &/or equipment
  • Ends after 12hrs, unless an extension is requested and granted
