Democratic - enforces rules and discusses rules with children; acknowledges childrens’ perspective
Authoritarian - rigid rules; demand obedience
Permissive - children in control
Rejecting - do not pay attention to child; no expectations
Univolved - ignores child; let’s child do what he prefers as long as it does not impair parents’ activity
