Agreement signed on the Mayflower that set up the new government in the New World; first example of self-government there
Three regions of colonies: what colonies are in each and describe the economy.
Southern colonies and Economy: Georgia, North and South Carolina and Virginia; agricultural economy (tobacco, indigo, rice, etc)
New England colonies and Economy: Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Connecticut; economy based on shipping, timber, trade, etc
Mid-Atlantic Colonies and Economy: New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland; economy based on grains/wheat, trade
