- Ensure ICP located at or in IMMED vicinity of incident site, in area outside of ops site & collapse zone.
- Keep in mind likely to be multiple responding agencies whose ranking reps need to be accommodated at IPCP.
- ICP must be clearly visible from collapsed structure AND accessible to incoming units.
- On arrival of DIV., CONSIDER use of Division Tent.
- Establishment of a Cmd. Ch. (Ch. 2) is essential for effective comm’s at LARGE incidents.
- *X-REF W/CM 7.3.2: IMPLEMENT CMD CH:
- 3rd alarm or greater
- 10-60, 66, 76
- 10-77 AND MORE THAN 1 SECTOR ESTABLISHED
- When needed during complex ops. AS DET’d BY I.C.
