  • Ensure ICP located at or in IMMED vicinity of incident site, in area outside of ops site & collapse zone.
  • Keep in mind likely to be multiple responding agencies whose ranking reps need to be accommodated at IPCP.
  • ICP must be clearly visible from collapsed structure AND accessible to incoming units.
  • On arrival of DIV., CONSIDER use of Division Tent.
  • Establishment of a Cmd. Ch. (Ch. 2) is essential for effective comm’s at LARGE incidents.
  • *X-REF W/CM 7.3.2: IMPLEMENT CMD CH:
    • 3rd alarm or greater
    • 10-60, 66, 76
    • 10-77 AND MORE THAN 1 SECTOR ESTABLISHED
    • When needed during complex ops. AS DET’d BY I.C.
