Required when OAT is at or below +3° for more than 30 minutes.
How should ice shedding procedures be applied?
- OAT +3°
- conditions of freezing rain, freezing drizzle, freezing fog or heavy snow
- Increase engines (ground operations permitted) to 60% N1 for 30 seconds at intervals not greater than 30 minutes.
