Determinism - schemas cause behaviours as they are shaped by our environmental interactions

Nomothetic - aims to make generalisations and believes we all process information the same ways and the internal mental processes explains all behaviour

Weakness - overlooks personal factors and individual differences in behaviour

Considers both internal and external factors but not in enough details

Weakness - does not properly consider the arguments of both nature and nurture
