Q
WMM
A
- the central executive allocates info to one of the subsystems and has no storage of its own
- the VSSP processes visual information (e.g. reading) + spatial info (such as navigation)
- the phonological loop processes auditory info such as speech or sounds
- subsystems are further broken down into more sections such as the primary acoustic stores and articulatory processor

reconstructive
A
- memory is an active reconstruction based on schemas which are mental representations of something based on past experiences
- omission is when unfamiliar elements of a memory are left out because they don’t fit schema
- accommodation is changing information to fit schema because it didn’t previously
- confabulation is when we fill in gaps in memory using schema
