Mean is because they all become the same bigger or lower
So old mean 10, all add 10, new mean 20

Standard deviation is not because the spread is the same

Mean is, because everything 2 times bigger so mean 2 times bigger

Standard deviation TOO HAS INCREASED, as if everything multiplied by 2, then spread multiplied by 2
