Medical Lab Professionals
A person receives medical laboratory services or treatments.
Patient
The objects, conditions and circumstances in one surroundings.
Environment
The ability to recognize suffering in others and engaging in action to alleviate it.
Compassionate
An act of commission (doing something wrong) and omission (failing to do the right thing) that leads to an undesirable outcome.
Error
To convey knowledge or information.
Communicate
Occurs when one’s personal or private interests interfere with another’s best interests or one’s own professional responsibilities.
Conflict of Interest
All of the qualities and capabilities if an individual relevant to his or her capacity to practice in the profession
Fitness to Practice
Refers to the sex(es) of those to whom one is sexually and romantically attracted to.
Sexual Orientation
A person’s biological status and is typically recognized as male, female, or intersex.
Sex
Refers to one’s sense of oneself as male, female or transgender.
When one’s gender identity and biological sex are not congruent, the individual may identify as transexual or as another transgender category.
Gender Identity
A holistic concept that is determined by more than the presence or absence of any disease.
Health Status
The manner in which a person acts and presents themselves in public, including the workplace.
