Device
Formulates the institution’s drug testing rules and provide drug education awareness, prevention, and control initiative programs
Drug Free Committee
Person appointed by the President to handle drug testing programs in the institution
Drug Free Testing Coordinator
Removal/debarment of the student from the institution
Exclusion
Removal/debarment of the student from the institution with a sanction of barring enrollment in all schools of the Philippines; imposed upon the approval of the President.
Expulsion
Controversy between a complainant (student) and respondent (member of the academic community)
Grievance
Controversies related to learning or performance in the academic courses
Academic Grievance
Controversies around how a person conducts themselves; e.g. sexual harassment and violation of the Safe Spaces Act, Violence Against Women and Children Act, etc.
Behavioral Grievance
Must be raised by 3 or more students or by 50% + 1 of enrolled students enrolled in a certain program with a representative
Group Grievance
Composed of the IDO, appointed Program Discipline Chairpersons, and a student representative from the program involved
Institutional Discipline Committee (IDC)
Person appointed by the VPAA to head the office of the IDO
Institutional Discipline Officer (IDO)
Written appeal with new supporting evidence of the respondent for the reconsideration of the decision to the complainant
Letter of Appeal
Classification of infarctions provided in the Code of Conduct
Offenses
Implements the student Code of Conduct which contains the detailed rules and regulations of the institution
Office of the IDO
Committee composed of 3 faculty members including the Committee Chair (appointed by the Dean) and a student representative from the council (not a voting member)
Program Discipline Committee (PDC)
Person appointed by the Dean to chair the PDC
