Can you tell the difference between cocaine HCl and cocaine base?
Yes FTIR is able to differentiate between the two
Why didn’t you determine if it was cocaine base or cocaine HCl?
The charging levels are the same for both as Minnesota does not differentiate between the different forms
Why did you only analyze one item in this case?
Only one item was analyzed as it is our policy to analyze up to the highest charging level and additional testing would likely not affect the charging level
