population ages- healthc are cos​ts rising for patient this means

More appoitnets, more specialsit, less coridantion, lots of health checks, polyphamrayc–> depresison

why is manging multimorbdiity difficult?

A

guidance on medications and treatments often produced on people with single health conditons (people witout mukltu-morbiidty or taking fewer medications often younger)

multimorbidity= more medications, more lifetyle advacne more appointemtns/checups

A
  • identifyy patient priorities and goals
  • what is the impact on the patient (disease burden)
  • how does the treatmetn affect patient on day to do (treatment burden)
  • impact of chronic pain and depression
