What is the initial management of primary brain tumours?
A
Surgery is the initial treatment for both high- and low-grade astrocytomas
- if non-resectable, stereotactic radiosurgery
Post-op WBRT +/- concurrent chemo (Carmustine or Temozolomide)

A
Astrocytomas
- patients present with aggressive grade III (anaplastic astrocytoma) or grade IV tumours (glioblastoma multiforme)
