- remissions & exacerbations with diplopia, weakness in extremities, & spasticity

- H2 blockers (cimetidine)
- indomethacin
- beta blockers

not recommended d/t s/e of drugs
-tx is usually focused on treating the attacks

A
-decrease inflammatory process of nerve fibers & improve conduction of demyelinating axons

-drowsiness dizziness -weakness -tiredness -mood/mental changes -dry mouth
