What are IPR
A
IPRs are limited in time and across jurisdictions.
➔ They do not exist forever.
➔ The creator/owner of the IPR has a certain amount of time in which they distribute
and share it and then after that period of time they no longer have the protection over
that right and it becomes part of the public domain.

Reasons for IPRs?
A
Reasons for intellectual property rights. → They thought to be necessary in order to
incentivize innovation and creation of work. As well as incentivizing the sharing of those
works.
