Cloud native security requirements are different Flashcards
Cloud-native security requirements are much different
Security in a cloud-native world is much different than just a few years ago.
With the corporate network dissolving, employees at different levels of seniority need to be able to connect to your infrastructure from anywhere.
At the same time, machine to machine access makes up an increasingly large portion of network communications with systems like Jenkins, Ansible and a variety of microservices or other custom applications needing secure access to diverse infrastructure resources themselves.
Both of these vectors– human and machine access– create risk that need to be addressed.
To do that and protect modern applications, we need to master the four essential elements of infrastructure access.
