Describe the marching lines the Custodians take when removing the chairs for the Retiring March.
They advance west from their stations to the Altar Line, then south and north to the Marching Lines and west to a point opposite the 5M station. After removing the Chaplain and Treasurer chairs, they retrace their steps to return to their stations.
How do the BG and ABG get to the East for the Retiring March?
They leave their stations, with the ABG on the BG’s left. They go north on the East Line to a point in front of the HQ podium, turn east and ascend the dais.

Describe the Retiring March on the Guide’s side.
She marches from her station to the West Line, turns right and marches to the South Marching Line. The IG follows the Guide. The Guide turns left and marches east to the Altar Line. As the IG passes the Treasurer, she marches south into the line and follows the IG. The Guide turns a square corner to the left (north) and marches past the station of the Chaplain. She turns west and marches around the semicircle. As the Guide’s line passes by them, the 5M, 2M, and 1M march south into line. The Guide marches east to the East Line, turns left and march to a point in line with the south side of the Altar. She turns left and marches west to the Altar Line. The Recorder follows the 1M. The JC follows the Recorder. The JP follows the JC. When the Guide reaches the Altar Line, she turns left and marches to the South Marching Line and then west to the West Line.
Describe the Retiring March on the Marshal’s side.
She marches from her station to the West Line, turns left and marches to the North Marching Line. The OG follows the Marshal. The Marshal turns right and marches east to the Altar Line. As the OG passes the Chaplain, she marches north into the line and follows the OG. The Marshal turns a square corner to the right (south) and marches past the station of the Treasurer. She turns west and marches around the semicircle. As the Marshal’s line passes by them, the 4M and 3M march north into line. The Marshal marches east to the East Line, turns right and march to a point in line with the north side of the Altar. She turns right and marches west to the Altar Line. The Librarian follows the 3M. The Daughters in the base of the Triangle turn and march toward the center, and alternately turn east. The Officers march to 2 step in front of the HQ and without pausing, nod slightly before alternately turning right and left.
