A
small mid axillary scars (chest drains), lobectomy, pneumonectomy scars

what can skin changes indicate
A
recent or previous radiotherapy - erythema/thickened skin

what does asymmetry indicate
A
major surgery. pneumonectomy (cancer) or thoracoplasty (rib removed)

what deformities may you see
A
barrel chest (copd), cachexia (malignancy, cf, copd)
