Moving in a direction towards [when 2 roots are used, the first root is the origin and the second root is the direction. E.g. cephalocaudad means “moving in the direction from the head toward the tail” - order of roots must be preserved.
-ate
Having; having the form of [the first is more common and should be used unless there is reason to use the second meaning.]
-ics
Study (of a subject) [-logy is more commonly used and should be used unless one is directed to use he suffix -ics]
