Pulses

A

Carotid pulse: Lateral to prominent cartilage in the neck (right carotid artery)

Radial pulse: Lower forearm at Base of thumb

Brachial pulse: Front of elbow, brachial artery located over Medial aspect

Femoral pulse: Mid-way between Symphysis pubis and Anterior Superior Iliac Spine

Popliteal pulse: behind knee (slightly flexed and leg relaxed), against bony prominence

Posterior tibial pulse: behind and slightly below Medial Malleolus

Dorsalis pedis pulse: Dorsum of foot just lateral to tendon which runs to big toe (Extensor Hallucis Longus tendon)
