A system where the organisation are accountable for continuing to improve the quality of services and safeguarding high standards of care by creating an environment in which excellence in clinical care will flourish.
It’s an umbrella term and covers the following elements
Education and training Clinical effectiveness Research and development Openness Risk assessment Information management
