- Trauma/fractures – long bones
- Chronic pain/infection
- Progressive debility
- Single joint issue
- Bony mass – initial evaluation

A
- Trauma /fractures
–> Initial: face, skull, spine
–> Further assessment of long bones / pre-op planning - Infection – if unable to do MRI

A
- Occult fractures
- Osteonecrosis
- Infection
- Masses
- Soft tissue injuries – cartilage, tendons, ligaments, muscles
- Herniated discs
- Spinal cord stenosis

- Lipoma

- Joint injections/arthrocentesis
- Growing use w/ tendon/ligament injuries
