What is another peice of evidence for climate change?
There is less ice in the north than there was 50 years ago.
Are there other reasons for global warming?
We are coming out of an ice age
Why is out climate changing?
It is changing because we are coming out of an ice age but climate change is speeding up due to the disturbance of the carbon cycle burning fossil fuels, therefore the cycle can’t keep up with itself.
How does the carbon cycle get emissions out of the atmosphere?
It gets sucked in by plants and trees is the main source of this.
What three main topics does climate change is affecting?
Environmental
Social
Economic
Why do we need to use renewable resources?
To keep the earth sustainable for life.
When fossil fuels run out we need to be using other rentable resources.
How can we make our lives more sustainable?
Use solar energy. Use less gas that helps carbon emissions to not go into the atmosphere. Don’t buy plastic bags at supermarkets. Grow plants and trees on your property
What are the cons of renewable energy?
Solar- costs a lot of money
Wind-takes up space and can kill wildlife.
Wave- its incostistant.
What are the pros to renewable energy?
It has no carbon emissions and it will never run out as natural corses occur to power it. It doesn’t damage the ozone layer ether.
