A
Coronary heart disease is when plaque builds up in the coronary arteries.

The coronary arteries supply nutrients and oxygen to the heart muscle.

Define heart attack
A
A heart attack is when the heart cannot receive oxygen nor produce ATP, as well as not being able to pump blood.

Describe the sequence of events starting from CHD and leading to heart attack
A
When atherosclerosis occurs, the buildup of plaque leads to an eventual breaking, and this creates a blood clot which is called coronary thrombosis, leading to a heart attack.
