A

1) relationship centred - ( family/person/patient) - sensitive to persons needs
2) patient empowerment - enhancing peoples abilities to meet their own needs and control their own lives
3) health promotion and illness prevention- “disease care system” prevention costs less, focused on staying healthy
4) collaborative partnership- partners in care, more client involvement

person- the individual is seen in the context of the family, the person is active, a problem solver and capable of learning new ways of coping/ always learning from experiences
environment- constantly interacting with the person “ creating a safe place “, the nurse can manipulate or make new environments to promote healthy behaviours
