Fixed mindset:
People do not want to learn/grow/change.
Growth mindset:
People want to learn/grow change.
Fixed mindset tends toward:
Taking constructive criticism personally, avoiding challenges/failures/looking dumb, overvaluing intelligence, attributing your success to your talent and attributing others success as luck, missing opportunities by focusing on something else.
Growth mindset tends toward:
Learning and developing new skills, working harder to achieve results, seeking new challenges, viewing failure as an opportunity for learning, persevering.
What is an entrepreneurial mindset:
The ability to sense opportunities, take action, and get organized under uncertain conditions. The ability to persevere, learn from failure, and accept discomfort. Entrepreneurial mindset requires constant thinking and rethinking, and the capacity to control emotions and impulses.
Understanding how you think:
What is your goal, how motivated are you, what do you already know, how much time will it take, what strategy works best.
Why does passion matter:
Passion keeps you going when things get difficult, passion will help you see opportunities that others don’t, if you aren’t passionate about it it’s not an opportunity, beware of becoming blinded by your passion because it can be misleading.
Self observation:
No two people are the same; success come by focusing on your strengths, failure come from not receiving help from others in your weakness.
Self-reward and punishment:
In order to change you must have awareness and desire, to implement change you must have knowledge and ability, to maintain a change you must have reinforcement.
