Pickett’s Charge was the last effort in the Battle of Gettysburg. General Lee ordered Pickett and the Confederates were pushing their troops into the North. If they had won it would have been a big victory because they would have gotten well into Union territory. Instead they lost and had to retreat back into the South and end their summer push.

Pickett blamed Lee for this bad plan and the failure and NEVER FORGAVE HIM!!!
