How has the concept of democracy evolved over time?
Democracy used to not be prominent due to large populations with monarchy in some areas, but today it’s much easier since we have much more broadcasting systems, and people want to be free

Describe the different between a direct and representative democracy?
The difference between them is representative democracy is where they choose their leaders and direct democracy is where they govern themselves

It limited the kings power. It also gave nobles the right to rebel if the king broke his part of the agreement. It’s significance because it gave men rights, limited taxes, and other things that we see today
What does the term legislature mean? What are the examples of legislatures found today?
Legislature means a lawmaking body. This is called parliament. Some examples of legislature are in 1625 King Charles 1 dismissed parliament and rules alone. When he broke the agreement, parliament removed the king and ruled without a monarch for about 20 years.
Explain the concept of a social contract? Where can we find these values today?
A social contract is a document that is an agreement between people and the government. We can find these values today with our president
What was Jamestown? Why was it founded?
Jamestown was the first colonial settlement in what is now Virginia. It was founded because the colonists wanted to make money and get away from the king.

England, Scotland, Ireland, wales, and Germany.
Explain the difference between an indentured servant and a slave.
An indentured servant chooses to work for the return of food and shelter from the colonists, while slaves were taken away from the king.
