Left atrium
receives oxygenated blood from lungs via pulmonary vein-which is the Only vein carrying oxygenated blood.
Right ventricle
receives deoxygenated blood from right atrium
Left ventricle
receives oxygenated blood from left atrium
Blood is made up of four components:
plasma
red blood cells
white blood cells
platelets
