What are Varicose Veins?
Enlarged or bulging veins appear dark blue usually in the legs. Symptoms include swollen and aching in the legs
What is Anemia?
Not having enough Erythrocytes/hemoglobins to transfer oxygen, resulting in fatigue and shortness of breath. Usually occurs in women or children, but treatment includes eating enough Iron and Vitamin C
What is Hypertension?
When the blood pressure in our blood vessels is too high, causing symptoms like chest pains and headaches, but can be treated with a healthy, low salt diet, being active, and loosing excess weight.
What is Arteriosclerosis and Atherosclerosis?
Build-up of cholesterol and fats in the artery walls causes the arteries to lose their flexibility and elasticity, usually causing asymptomatic problems like reduced blood flow. Arteriosclerosis is an umbrella term encompassing Atherosclerosis referring to arteries, and Arteriolosclerosis referring to arterioles
