type of circuit involves working to aa set time period for both rest aand exercise intervals
timed circuit
similar to timed circuit but you push yourself how many repetitions you can do in the set time period
competition circuit
type of circuit working in large groups of people who have different levels of fitness and aility
repetition circuit
best done outside or in a large open area
sport specific/ running circuit
what some precautions or safety guidelines in doing circuit exercise
- start slowly
- warm up and cool down is crucial
- stretching and flexibility training a regular part of your circuit training
