Q

What is ur religion and what kind of influence does it exert on u?

A

Hinduism embraces many religious ideas. For this reason, it’s sometimes referred to as a “way of life” or a “family of religions,” as opposed to a single, organized religion.
As Follower I believe there are multiple paths to reaching their god.
believe in the doctrines of samsara (the continuous cycle of life, death, and reincarnation) and karma (the universal law of cause and effect).
One of the key thoughts of Hinduism is “atman,” or the belief in soul. This philosophy holds that living creatures have a soul, and they’re all part of the supreme soul. The goal is to achieve “moksha,” or salvation, which ends the cycle of rebirths to become part of the absolute soul.
One fundamental principle of the religion is the idea that people’s actions and thoughts directly determine their current life and future lives.
Hindus strive to achieve dharma, which is a code of living that emphasizes good conduct and morality.
Hindus revere all living creatures and consider the cow a sacred animal.
Food is an important part of life for Hindus. Most don’t eat beef or pork, and many are vegetarians.

Which qualities do you like and dislike about your bestfriends?

What are your friends doing?

A

I have a bestfriend. I like her because exceptionally reliable and trustworthy. Adheres to her words and is pretty straightforward at passing judgements be it anything. She asks penetrating questions which lights up my mood instantly and adds to my introspection. Clearly understands purpose, objectives provides strong and functional knowledge sometimes. Her major shortcoming is her fitness sir. But, she is tough enough to face the world and punch back stronger when necessary. Rest, she’ll become the best homeopathic doctor. And with her treatment she’ll be able breathe a new life into many people who need care.

Q

Acha, tell me how are these social workers or NGO’s impacting Indian Army?

A

The Sainik Welfare organisation is an NGO that is providing residential units – apartments, plots, independent floors - to personnel who are still in service, as well as those retired, along with their spouses or dependents.

The Lakshya Foundation was built by a team of volunteers who wanted to bridge the gap between the armed forces and the civilians. Through that effort, they are also creating an emotional bond with these soldiers and their families.

They conduct a number of events to create awareness about how our soldiers have fought for our country, share the episodes of bravery, and instil a sense of patriotism

27
Q

Any army related NGO?

A

Like its name suggests, War Wounded Foundation aims to rehabilitate the war-disabled personnel in different parts of India. The autonomous organisation aims to provide financial independence and productivity to all war personnel from the Army, Navy, and the Air Force.

the NGO wanted to help them become ‘Soldier Entrepreneurs’ and tried to help them generate income from self-employment. But not all of them were keen on this, so they diverged into upskilling with computer training, spoken English, repairs of small items like TV, radios, cycles, and others.

Maruti veer jawan
is to aid the martyrs of our country and help their dependent families.
Some of the essentials include providing for their kid’s education, family’s health, and other basic necessities through their many events and distribution drives. In the festive season, the organisation sends them gifts as a symbol of love

Veer Nari Resettlement Foundation is helping the Veernaris to stand on their feet by counselling and assisiting them in all possible ways ,to acquire skills needed to be financially independent. Its a non profit organization, working tirelessly ,with the sole aim of resettlement of the families of the Martyrs ..

The Sainik Welfare Charitable Fund (SWCF) provides support, encouragement, and hope by treating each soldier like family. We value our soldiers’ sacrifices and commitment to this great country and welcome the opportunity to serve them in their financial needs too.

We believe that the men and women in the Armed Forces are the unsung heroes of our country. They are often just “regular people” like everyone who are called upon to perform extraordinary feats under the most unrelenting conditions.

28
Q

How will you be able to do social work in Army when it’s all about the war, equipment, machinery, and threats and enemy?

A

Op sadbhavana Jawan Aur Awam, Aman Hai Muqaam”
(The soldier and people, peace is the destination)

the core of Operation Sadhbhavana theme gyrates around aspirations of local populace and India’s national interest.

  1. Indian Army has established 46 Army Goodwill Schools and rendered assistance to approximately 1900 State Government run schools by carrying out renovation, modifications, infrastructure augmentation and provisioning of equipment
  2. Indian Army is running special “Shepherds Schools”, a one of its kind initiative at various receiving areas which are frequented regularly by the nomadic groups.
  3. To cater for the medical needs of population living in remote and inaccessible areas, a number of medical aid/health centers have been constructed. These centers have been providing essential medical aid to local population and are equipped with modern equipment. Villagers are regularly being educated on family planning, child care, basic hygiene, sanitation and precautions against local ailments at these Centers
  4. Special emphasis is being laid to empower women by organising skill development training like operating of computers, knitting, tailoring, candle making, bag making, carpets / basket weaving, horticulture and fashion designing at various Vocational Training Centers (VTC) for them.

The unique initiative stands as a dazzling example of commitment and dedication of the uniformed community

Initiatives likes these are reassuring not only because of the positive numbers and results, but also because in these initiatives exists a possibility of socially uplifting a section of the society which not only suffers socio-economically but also lives under a constant threat of geopolitical instability.

“Our Motto … A Smile on Every Face”
“Army belongs to the people and its commitment will last as long as the involvement of the people lasts…..”

29
Q

  2. Psychologists are not authorised to prescribe medications. Instead, they recommend talk therapies and exercises that are best suited for mild mental conditions, and this is all done through careful observation and counselling with their patients
  3. Psychotherapist is a general term for lot of different types of mental health professionals. This can include psychologists and psychotherapists. These professionals provide psychotherapy is a talking therapy. It’s designed to improve mental health and general well being.
30
Q

why would you need a degree for that! What’s the big deal about rendering help to a needy! A person’s conscience is enough for Social Work??

A

How many of us agree with the fact that a chemist, no matter how good he/she may be at curing ails, can never qualify to be called a doctor, because of the simple truth that a chemist doesn’t hold an MBBS degree. people often tend to relate Social Work with social and moral obligations that religion preaches and philanthropy demands. The fault totally doesn’t lie with the common masses. They often tend to confuse Social Work with Social Service or Social Welfare and likewise, Social Worker with Humanitarian or Philanthropist. Simply saying, a Social Worker will prefer to enrol clients (what they call needy) in some skill development course rather than giving them free rashan, so that when the rashan is out of stock he may not have to ask for it again. Skill development will make them perpetually independent.

31
Q

father of social work?

A

Jane Addams, known as the “mother” of social work, was a pioneer American settlement activist/reformer, social worker, public philosopher, sociologist, public administrator, protestor, author, and leader in women’s suffrage and world peace

33
Q

Definition of social work?

A

Social work is an academic discipline and practice-based profession concerned with meeting the basic needs of individuals, families, groups, communities, and society as a whole to enhance their individual and collective well-being.

34
Q

What is the role of social worker?

A

Social workers who have a strong ability to empathize will be able to form strong connections because their clients feel they understand them and can relate to the things that are difficult for them. Similar to compassion, empathy is at the very heart of social work and is essential for any effective professional.

35
Q

Who is Sigmund Freud?
Father of psychoanalysis
What is his concept?

A

The core of psychoanalysis is the belief that all people possess unconscious thoughts, feelings, desires, and memories.
1.A person’s behavior is influenced by their unconscious drives.
2.Emotional and psychological problems such as depression and anxiety are often rooted in conflicts between the conscious and unconscious mind.
3.Personality development is heavily influenced by the events of early childhood (Freud suggested that personality was largely set in stone by the age of five).
4.People use defense mechanisms to protect themselves from information contained in the unconscious.
Unconscious Mind
Thoughts, urges, or feelings that are unpleasant, difficult, or even socially unacceptable.

Buried because they can bring about pain or conflict.

Can sometimes be brought into awareness using certain techniques.

Conscious Mind
Thoughts, feelings, and urges that we are aware of or can easily bring into awareness.

Not hidden or suppressed.

May be influenced by unconscious thoughts, feelings, or memories.

The Id, Ego, and Superego
Freud believed that an individual’s personality had three components: the id, the ego, and the superego.

Id
The first of the key elements of personality to emerge is known as the id. The id contains all of the unconscious, basic, and primal urges.

Ego
The second aspect of personality to emerge is known as the ego. This is the part of the personality that must deal with the demands of reality. It helps control the urges of the id and makes us behave in ways that are both realistic and acceptable.

Rather than engaging in behaviors that are designed to satisfy our desires and needs, the ego forces us to fulfill our needs in ways that are socially acceptable and realistic. In addition to controlling the demands of the id, the ego also helps strike a balance between our basic urges, our ideals, and reality.

Superego
The superego is the final aspect of personality to emerge, and it contains our ideals and values. The values and beliefs that our parents and society instill in us are the guiding force of the superego and it strives to make us behave according to these morals.

Psychoanalysis opened up a new view on mental illness, particularly that talking through problems with a psychoanalytic professional could help alleviate a person’s psychological distress.

36

But, you need to be smart enough to judge people and their intentions that’s what makes you a true leader. I regained my calm. Cleared the misunderstanding with mam. Warned her. A

Both sir. If the doubt revolves around. If my competition in life, any social issues. My go to person is my father. He fills my spirit, lifts my soul. Make me see a rainbow in my wilderness and in my storm.

If the doubts revolve around academics, goals, aspirations, future resolutions. My go to person is my maa.

Q

Similarities and differences between your brother and how do you motivate him?

A

We both are plain sir, very cheerful, lighthouse of energies, very cooperative and very understanding, we are friends more than siblings.

Coming to differences I’m more into academics + NCC+ adventure. He is very notorious, passionate about games rather than studies. owing to his adolescence and we have a huge difference of 8 years.

I try to make him understand the importance of academics. He is not very serious. I forcefully make him sit and do classes. I’ve plans for him which he has agreed to. I’ll make sure my brother becomes the All India Best Rider in RDC Parade.

Q

Recent incident where you picked up a fight?

A

On 28 July 2022. My train was at 5pm. But boarding was at Gudur rather than tirupati. Moreover,to avoid traffic blocks that’s regular at sri kalahasthi papa suggested me to start from tirupati by 1pm reach there by 4pm. Have 1hr in hand. Paapa went to fetch auto. Street was narrow. Blocked by random person waiting for his payment infront of the way where auto, vehicles has to pass. Papa requested him to move and park it vacant space which was few steps away. He refused. Said after payment, after clearing luggage he will move. He was adamant and arguing illogically. Verbally heated argument started. I rushed to that place. Both were verbally abusing each other. I pacified. Requested him to move and apologized for the wrong usage of words by my father. Our neighbours gathered by the time. As we were leaving. He was continuing to abuse my dad until I lost my patience. I gave him left and right. Authoritatively asked him for licence told him to move to police station mimicking as a person in state police. He instantly moved his car without any fuss. I looked at my father. He gave me a wide smile appreciating my acting skills.
