Point Of View
A
- A shot taken with the camera placed approximately where the characters eyes would be, showing up what the character would see
- Horror films / thrillers often use POV shots to suggest an unseen presence in the scene

Depth of field
A
- Refers to the extent to which the space represented is in focus
- In shallow focus- is very narrow zone of depth is in focus at any one time and everything closer and further from the camera is out of focus
- In deep focus- all distance planes remain clearly in focus, from close up range to infinity
