What does it mean for the Church to be the body of Christ?
-The idea that Catholic Christians continue the work of Jesus today through the Church community. They do this because Jesus has no physical body on earth anymore as they believe he is in Heaven. Through the Eucharist we become the body of Christ
- Each member of the Church is important, and everyone has their own role. Just like a human body which has lots of different parts and organs, each person is needed for the Church to spread God’s love.

How are Catholics influenced by the idea of being the body of Christ?
They will try to continue the work Jesus started during his time on earth by living out his teachings like “love thy neighbour “ in their own lives by supporting charities like CAFOD
