A
CT pancreas with IV contrast showing pancreatic calcifications

Tx for Chronic pancreatitis?
Diet?
Medication?
Surgery is indicated when?
A
Diet: no alcohol, low fat
Meds: Analgesia, lipase (Creon)
Surgery is for unremitting pain or narcotic abuse
