A
- loss of weight, fever, sweats, fatigue
- gout (purine infections)
- bleeding
- abdominal poin bc of splenic enlargement
- anaemia - breath;essness, fatigue, pallor
- infection
- massive hapatosplenomegaly

treatment
A
- baseline quantities PCR BCR:ABL1
- start imatinib 400mg daily
- monitor FBC for haematological remission
- reassess spleen size every 3 months
- monitor BCR:ABL1 every 3 months
