What is a souterrain?
Underground passages or tunnels built under houses during the iron age used for;
Storing food, as a huding place and as an escape passage.

First-hand accounts of what happened. It is the original peice of information.
What is carbon dating?
A way archaeologists use to date objects:
All living tings contain carbon and when they die their bank of carbon slowly disappears. By measuring how much carbon is left in an object it is possible to date it.
