Jesus is teaching a large crowd of people. The people are a long way from home and do not have any food with them. Jesus feeds the whole crowd of more than 5,000 people with 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish.

Jesus and his disciples are out in a boat when suddenly a huge storm blows up. The disciples are afraid their busy may sink but Jesus says to the wind and the waves ‘ be still’ and the storm suddenly stops.

Jesus is teaching in a house when doe men bring to him a man who cannot walk. Jesus says to the man ‘get up and go home.’ The man is suddenly healed she walks off carrying the mat he was lying on.

Walking on water

Jesus tells his disciples to get into the boat while he dismisses the crowd. He then went t up to a mountain to pray. Later that night he was alone and the boat was far away from land. Shortly before dawn, he went to the boat waking on the lake.
All the disciples thought he was a ghost but then he told them that it is him - Jesus.
Peter said to him that if it was him then to tell Peter to walk towards Jesus.
Peter started waking but after a few seconds sank and said lord save me.
Jesus reached out his hand and caught him.
‘You have little faith’ Jesus said.
They both climbed back into the boat and the disciples worshipped Jesus saying ‘you truly are the son of God’

Why did Jesus perform miracles?🔴

Jesus performed miracles to show that he was the son of God and because he wanted to help people through their struggles.
