What do Christian’s believe about god
They believe is there only 1 god, god is the creator, people can have a relationship with god through prayer
What is omnipotent?
God is the supreme being
That’s all powerful
God has unlimited authority
What dose benevolent mean?
All loving
God uses his power to do good
What is just?
God is a just judge of human kind
What are problems of evil?
If god is benavelant why dose god allow people to suffer
If god omnipotent why dose god not prevent evil and suffering(eg natural disasters)
If god is just why sose god allow injustice
What is the trinity?
Christians believe there are 3 persons in god
The father
The son
The holy sprit
Explain the father in trinity?
The creater of all life
Acts as a good father towards his children

God created everything out of choice and good
What is creation?
They believe that god created the world and this was a act of love
In the creation all 3 people in god were involved( father, Holy Spirit, the son)
What is the order of creation?
1-light
2-the sky
3-the earth,seas and vegetation
4-the sun and the moon
5-animals of the air and sea
6- land animals and humans
7- day of rest
What is the crucifixion?
Jesus sacrificed his life on a cross(he felt all the pain)
He forgave the people that killed him to show forgiveness
His sacrifice gives Christian’s hope their sins we’ll be forgiven
God understands human suffering because he went through it
What is the resurrection?
Proves the power of good over Evil
Proves god can forgive sin
Proves Christian’s have no need to fear death
What is the Ascension?
40 days after Jesus was resurrected he appeared to his disciples that he went up to heaven
“He ascended to heaven”
The ascension allowed the Holy Spirit to be present and proves divinity
What is the afterlife
Heaven, hell, or purgatory

What is sin?
Sin is thoughts and actions that’s separate us from god
What is original sin?
The idea that we are born with an inbuilt sin
(when Adam and Eve committed the sin of eating the apples that sin is passed down into everyone)
What is Purgatory?
The catholic place of suffering
What is heaven?
The place or state of existence of the blessed after the mortal life
What is hell?
The place or state of punishment of the wicked after death
What is atonement?
Removing the effect of sin
At - one - ment
The crucifixion and resurrection that make people ‘at - one’ with god
