It says that the fall (where Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden allowed suffering into the world, this came due to their free will). However some say that evil came through the devil. They believe that God sent Jesus to overcome evil.

Some believe that it gives the opportunity to follow Jesus’s example and live as God had intended. Others believe through the example of Job that we may not understand why we suffer, but that we must trust in God to be rewarded. Christians would respond to this by prayer and charity.
