Q

Give 3 teachings about life after death in Christianity:

A
  • Christians believe in the afterlife because of the resurrection of Jesus. They will also be resurrected and be with God in heaven.
  • They should follow the teachings of Jesus (eg. the Parable of the Sheep and the Goats). God will judge if they go to heaven or hell
  • Heaven is a place of paradise and happiness, hell is a place of torment and suffering. They believe they can get to heaven by their belief in Jesus
  • Some Christians believe in a physical resurrection - body and soul. Some Christians believe in a spiritual resurrection - soul.
  • Some Christians don’t believe an all-loving God would send people to hell. Perhaps they just stop living!
