Jesus forgave the guards that crucified him
Told the people with him they have a spot in heaven
Impact of crucifixion
Gives Christian’s the confidence that sin can’t destroy there lives as gift is forgiving to those who ask and died to kill original sin
Suffering is a part of life and Jesus has experienced it so understands the pain of sufferers
The resurrection
After Shabbat Jesus female followers went to anoint and bury his body

Ascension
After Jesus met with his disciples to explain the mission he went back to heaven
Significance of resurrection and ascension
Good is better than evil
No need to fear death

Without resurrection there is no Christianity
