Q

Sleep deprivation and alcohol consumption effect on mood

A

Sleep deprivation negatively affects someone’s mood, making them more irritable and sensitive. Alcohol can make people feel happy and excited or alternatively more angry or sad.

Both sleep deprivation and alcohol alter someone’s mood when compared to how they might feel in ordinary waking consciousness (NWC).
