Anaphylaxis

A
  1. SOB, hypotension, swollen lips and tounge
  2. TOC: Adrenaline 10mcg/kg or 0.01ml/kg (1:1000) IM
    Repeat every 5 mins if necessary

(<20kg) <1-5yrs - 150mcg epi pens
(>20kg) 5-12yrs - 300mcg
(>50kg) adults - 500mcg

Partial airway obstruction: Try neb Adr… IM adr… Adrenaline infusion

Observe for 4hrs
12hrs in higher risk cases Refer in high risk cases

Neb salbutamol if asthma+
Antihistamines (citrezine); avoid promethazine as it causes hypotension
