what is the Healthy child programme?
a universal preventative service, providing families with a programme of screening, immunisation, health and development reviews, supplemented by advice around health, wellbeing and parenting.

help parents develop a strong bond with children
encourage car that keeps children healthy and safe
protect children from serious diseases through screening/immunisation
reduced childhood obesity
encourage mothers to breast feed
identify problems in children health/developent/safety so they can get help asap
