Pectus Carinatum (Pigeon Chest)
A
Localised prominence of the sternum & costal cartilages w/ indrawing of the ribs
Often the result of early respiratory disease (i.e. early age) - increased resp effort distorts development of the chest
Can be caused by rickets

Pectus Excavatum (Funnel Chest)
A
Localised depression of lower end of sternum
Can cause appearance of heart displacement on CXR
