Oxygen if….
A
Saturations are less than 94% or evidence of respiratory distress

Obtain 12-lead EKG and transmit as soon as possible for:
A
- Chest / arm / neck / epigastric pain
- Shortness of breath
- Diaphoresis
- Syncope
- Dizziness thought to be of possible cardiac etiology

Aspirin
A
Four 81 mg orally (baby aspirin) total of 324 mg

Nitroglycerin
A
- May assist patient with HIS/HER OWN PRESCRIPTION
- Hold if systolic blood pressure is less than 100
- Give 1 tablet sublingual every 5 minutes up to 3 tablets

Do not use Nitroglycerin
A
If erectile dysfunction medication in past 24-48 hours
- MAY RESULT IN INTRACTABLE HYPOTENSION
