A
- Full scrim set. Hollywood set- a half double, half single, two doubles, single, gel frame
- Fit of barn doors, floppy doors, safety chain
- Open and check reflector for warping and discoloration
- Inspect bulb for blisters, bulges
- Check lens is clean and full of cracks
- T-handle threads properly
- Tilt-lock knuckle holds
- Plugs for signs of overheating– discoloration, malformation
- Plug in, check bulb and switch, wigglecord and lamp housing
- Check flood spot for smooth full travel, observe beam

H. MI check out
A
- Scrim set, barn doors, lens set (PARS), two head feeder cables, ballast, power feeder cable
- Hookup and turn on each light, using both head feeders. Inspect head cables for bent pins or misthreaded connectors, cuts in insulation, loose strain relief collar
- allow several minutes for full output, measure color temp and green/magenta shift. Mark and tape to bail, include date and unit number
- Number each head, globe box, same head and globe used together
- watch for unstable arcs (welder’s glass)
- check for ground faults and eakage current from head and allast, GFI devie
- test restrike capability, turning it off and restike after 15 sec. If not, try again once every 60 secs
- inspect bulb for blisters and bulges
- check lens is clean and uncraked

Stand checkout
A
raise each stand to full extension, check for binding and corrosion, test lock of each t-handle
- inspect for bent or broken braces and loose for missing brace bolts
- crank stands and motozied stand should be tested by raising and lowering with a sandbag on it
- pnuematic tires should befully inflated and roll smoothly
- check that the wheel swiverl locks, brace hinges, collars, et. operate properly
