- check which chart is listed for update
- pull each chart out, check previous correction has been done
- if the previous correction has not been done
- we will go to accumilitve notice to mariners and do the previous corrections first
- then our own correction
- permenant chart correction in magenta ink
- all temperory corrections in pencil
